There is a new module for the calculation of a rack-pinion gear pair. The new module makes it easier than ever to determine gear racks instead of using the cylindrical gear pair module.

In addition to geometry, allowances and gear tooth form, the load capacity according to DIN 3990 and ISO 6336 including load spectra can be easily calculated. For 2D CAD systems, the standard format DXF is available.

The new eAssistant CAD plugin versions for Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge and Solid Works support the creation of 3D gear rack models.
