In July, two new calculation modules for straight and helical bevel gears and Klingelnberg´s Zyklo-Palloid (R) bevel gears were released after successful beta testing. The geometry calculation is based on ISO 23509 as well as Klingelnberg KN 3028. For the load capacity, ISO 10300 is implemented.

After a successful beta test, GWJ has officially launched the calculation module for involute splines according to DIN 5480 in May.

Since May, it is possible to use a helix angle > 45 degree to max. 89 degree for the calculation of cylindrical gears and planetary gear trains. This function is disabled by default for safety reasons. To enable this functionality, please contact our support team.
