New in SystemManager: More precise bearing calculations. More flexibility. Better insights.
The latest version of SystemManager, the extension for GWJ Technology’s calculation solution eAssistant, introduces new features for the design and calculation of rolling bearings.
With updated bearing databases, enhanced lubricant definitions, and more detailed calculation options, engineers can model bearing applications with greater precision and flexibility.
- Updated bearing databases:
- The internal geometry databases from CSC and GMN now include additional information on the lower shoulder height of angular contact ball bearings and preload forces.
- The NSK and SKF catalog databases have also been updated
- A new Timken database is now available.
- The HQW/Barden internal geometry database remains unchanged.
- Additional databases can be requested from IBC, SLF, and GRW.
- Enhanced lubricant definition:
Viscosities can now be defined for up to four different temperatures, allowing lubricants to be described more accurately, particularly for applications at very low or high operating temperatures. - Extended calculation options:
- Optional consideration of lubricant-film effects on bearing clearance for ball bearings.
- Recalculation and display of bearing mass without the cage.
- Individual definition of the lower shoulder height for angular contact ball bearings.
- Specification of pressure angles for both bearing rings in four-point contact bearings to assess the influence of tolerances.
Important for Existing Users:
The database format has changed. Do not simply copy your database from an older SystemManager version.
Instead, use: Extras ⇒ Database ⇒ Import from old database
This allows you to continue using your existing database with the new version.
